Cancellation and Refund Policy
Last updated: 31 August 2026. Membership should be easy to leave. This explains cancelling, what happens to a Circle in progress, and when we refund.
When you are charged
Nothing is charged for joining the waitlist or completing the questions. Payment happens only when you accept a Circle offer and choose a plan. Membership then bills monthly in advance until you cancel.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from your account, or through Help and support in your Again account, or the contact form at again.social/contact.
- Cancelling stops future charges. It does not delete your account.
- Access continues until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If you cancel during a Circle, you are welcome to finish the four weeks within your paid period. Telling your Circle is the kind thing to do.
Refunds
We refund in these situations:
- You paid and your Circle never started because we could not run it.
- We cancelled or dissolved your Circle for a reason that was not your conduct.
- A duplicate or clearly mistaken charge.
- A technical failure that meant you did not receive what you paid for.
We generally do not refund in these situations:
- You chose not to attend meetups that were available to you.
- You did not enjoy a Circle that ran as described.
- Your account was closed for a serious breach of the Community Guidelines.
Outside these cases we still look at the circumstances. If something went wrong, write to us and describe it.
Statutory rights
Consumer law in your country of residence may give you a right to withdraw from a contract made online, and nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law. How that right applies once a Circle has already started is being confirmed and will be stated here precisely. In the meantime, if you believe you have a right to withdraw, tell us through Help and support in your Again account, or the contact form at again.social/contact and we will honour it.
Try Again tickets
A Try Again ticket is a one time ticket for a single meetup. It is not a membership, it does not renew, and nothing on this page about monthly membership cancellation applies to it.
Paid ticket checkout is not switched on yet, so no Try Again ticket can currently be purchased or charged. The cancellation and refund terms that apply to a ticket will be shown to you before paid ticket checkout is enabled, and your mandatory consumer rights apply to a ticket in the same way they apply to membership. What you spend at the venue is separate from the ticket and is between you and the venue.
How refunds are paid
Refunds return to the original payment method through our payment provider. Timing depends on your bank, usually a few business days.
