Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 August 2026. These terms apply to everyone who joins the Again waitlist, creates a profile, holds an Again membership, or books a Try Again meetup.

1. About Again

Again matches compatible adults into small groups. The main service is a membership that places you in a Circle of six people meeting repeatedly over four weeks. Againalso offers Try Again, a one time ticket to a single small group meetup, described in section 5a. Again is not a dating service. We do not guarantee friendships, attendance by others, or any specific outcome. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Again.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract. One person, one account. You agree to give accurate information, including your first name, date of birth and city, and to keep it current.

3. Waitlist

Joining the waitlist is free and creates no obligation on either side. A waitlist place does not guarantee an invitation, a Circle, or a launch date in your city.

4. Matching and Circle offers

Matching uses the answers you give and the practical constraints you set. Every proposed Circle is reviewed by a person before anyone is invited. A Circle offer is limited in time and can be withdrawn if the group cannot be completed. We may decline to place you in a Circle, or hold your place, when we do not believe the match would be good.

5. Membership and billing

  • Paid membership begins only when you accept a Circle offer and choose a plan.
  • Plans today are Premium at $19 per month and Plus at $29 per month.
  • Membership bills in advance on a recurring basis until you cancel.
  • Payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not store your card details.
  • Food, drink and travel at a meetup are yours to pay. Membership covers matching and running your Circle.
  • Prices can change with notice before the change applies to your next billing period.

Cancelling and refunds are covered in the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

5a. Try Again tickets

  • A Try Again ticket is a one time ticket to a single meetup, priced at a USD equivalent of $9. It is not a membership and does not renew.
  • Tickets are offered on selected Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays that we open, in any week of the month, and you may hold or attend one Try Again meetup per calendar month.
  • We choose the group and the venue. A Try Again meetup is a standalone group of four to six people and you are never added to an existing Circle.
  • A Try Again meetup does not continue into further weeks and does not create any right to a Circle offer, a Circle place, or continued matching.
  • Availability depends on your city, eligibility and the places we have open. We may decline or cancel a booking.
  • Food, drink and travel at the meetup are yours to pay and are separate from the ticket.
  • Paid ticket checkout is not enabled yet. Nothing is charged to you until it is, and the applicable ticket terms will be shown before you pay.

Your commitments, safety, conduct, privacy and attendance obligations in these terms apply to Try Again meetups in the same way they apply to Circle meetups.

6. Your commitments

  • Follow the Community Guidelines at every meetup and in every Circle conversation.
  • Meet the expectations in the Attendance, Late Cancellation and No-Show Policy.
  • Keep what other members share inside the Circle.
  • Do not use Again to sell, recruit, solicit or pursue anyone romantically.
  • Do not scrape, copy or misuse the service or other members' information.

7. Safety and enforcement

We can restrict, suspend or close an account as described in Account Suspension and Termination. Serious safety concerns can lead to immediate action before a review is complete.

8. Meetups happen in the real world

Circles meet in public venues chosen for a first meeting. We do not supervise meetups and we are not responsible for the conduct of other members, or for venues and their services. Use ordinary judgement, and tell us if something goes wrong.

9. Your content

You keep ownership of what you write and the photos you upload. You give us permission to use them to operate the service, for example to show your photo to your Circle after it is activated. You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload.

10. Availability and changes

Again is under active development during the pilot. Features can change, and parts of the service can be unavailable. We will tell members about material changes to these terms before they take effect, and continued use after that means you accept them.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for your mandatory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our liability for any claim connected with the service is limited to the membership and one time service fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

12. Ending the agreement

You may cancel or ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end this agreement if you breach these terms or the Community Guidelines, or if we stop offering the service in your city.

13. Governing law and disputes

The governing law and the forum for disputes are being confirmed and will be stated here before paid membership opens beyond the pilot. Until then, the mandatory consumer protection law of your country of residence applies, and nothing here limits rights you have under it.

Before any formal step, please use the contact form at again.social/contact. Most issues are resolved quickly that way.
